Steinberg and MI7 Announce New Distribution Strategy for Nuendo in Germany and The Netherlands
MI7 AB and Steinberg Media Technologies GmbH have today announced that MI7 AB will exclusively distribute the Steinberg Nuendo product line in Germany and The Netherlands from 1st July, 2004. This includes Steinberg's famed Nuendo Media Production System software, Time Base Synchroniser hardware and both the Nuendo DTS and Dolby Digital encoder plug-ins. Additionally, MI7 AB will also distribute the award-winning WaveLab 5.0 mastering and DVD-Audio Authoring solution as well as the Steinberg Surround Edition non-exclusively in both countries.
Steinberg and MI7 are very optimistic about this move. "We're highly pleased to be working together with a company whose reputation in the industry as good as MI7's," commented Andreas Stelling, Steinberg's General Manager. "Not only do we place absolute confidence in their competence, integrity, and professionalism, but we're also convinced our Nuendo customers and dealers in Germany and The Netherlands quickly will too," he continued.

"The center for Apogee, KM Studio Systems, Blue Microphones, PrimeSounds and NHTPro Monitors is a Digital Audio Workstation software and that for us obviously is Nuendo. We're confident that this move by Steinberg will prove a smart one, as they have understood that you need specialized people to get specialized products into the specialized segments of the market."
