Real Player

RealPlayer is all you need for listening to streaming audio on the internet. The freeware version is called 'RealPlayer Basic', but can still play streaming audio and video across the internet. The 'Plus' version offers EQ and other additions, but the basic version is quite good enough for most needs. RealPlayer acts as a plug-in to Explorer or Navigator, but can also play standard audio file formats, such as .wav, .aif or mp3.
