SynthEdit is a powerful analog modular synthesizer that offers the possibility of creating synthesis engines that can work in real-time or off-line. It has real-time control and output, as well as MIDI Input and a variety of synthesis modules (including ADSR Envelope, Audio Output, Clipper, Container, DCA, Delay, Filter, MIDI Drum Trigger, MIDI In, MIDI File Player, MIDI to CV, Multiplier (Ring Modulator) and Oscillator). It can also process live audio and can play wave files and SoundFont 2 banks.
