eMule
eMule has been around quite a long time in terms of file sharing aplications, and its userbase has been growing steadily with a rapid increase recently after more more lawsuits by the RIAA shutting down Metmachine, the official developers. The interface is clean and simple, and the downloads are quick, with eMule always finding the quickest host for the downloads, as well as splitting the download between many hosts in order to speed things up even further. Also, to top it all off, who can resist a program named after an ass?
