Azureus is one of the longest established Bittorrent clients and is available on most platforms including Windows, Mac and Linux. It is very feature rich, with a very large database of plugins available to add extra functionality if needed. It is relatively simple to use but takes up a lot of processor power in comparison with uTorrent.
